I FRATELLI 2024
I FRATELLI is a contemporary dance duet which finds its inspiration in the siblings' love-hate relationship. The performance develops a geometric and emotional exploration of solidarity between two individuals. Their connection traces lines and simple stories in space that play between closeness and distance. This subtle work reveals a repetitive and thus engaging rhythm within their affinity and opens our perspective on our experiences that connect us to our environment. I FRATELLI is a dedication to the simple moments within a routine, dealing with interaction and confrontation, with ourselves and the other.
HALFHORSE HALFWOMAN 2024
In greek mythology she could be identified as a centaur. That creature whose upper body is that of a human and whose lower body is that of a horse. Awkwardly strange. But apart from its connection with the hybrid creatures of folklore, this physical theatre performance is above all an ode to our deepest survival instinct and our bond with animals. As cartoonish as it is seriously complex, the work also questions the way in which we profit-driven humans treat our environment and the species that live in it.
DRAGONFLY 2023 (COMMISSION)
As a glide through the water, a representation of a divine act, the contemporary dance performance DRAGONFLY creates a spiritually inspired space, connecting us back to self-care and self-awareness. In demanding times, the urge to balance our experiences and the derived emotions seems very essential. Just like the metamorphosis from a nymph in the waters to a dragonfly in the air, the artists will take us on a journey full of layers of transformation, exploring the complexity and simplicity of the human species. They will confront illusions and deceit while also embracing the lightness of our existence. A lightness that empowers everyone to reconnect to the present moment, and rise into blissfulness and gratification.
LA NOSTRA PICCOLA DANZA 2023
A couple in their early sixties invite us to join them on a poetic journey of a minimalist contemporary tango dance. Such as an abstract painting in space, the subtile bodies and lines become a symbole of empowerment for diversity, integration and cultural heritage. A return to simplicity leaving expectations behind and allowing things to glide the way they are. The fusion of body and sound encourage a moment of escape, such as a surrealistic and still brutally honest place, which plays with realistic and metamorphic states. La nostra piccola danza (our little dance) questions the relation of intimacy and freedom of expression through dance. As a universal language, dance is a way to connect through multiple traditional, folkloric, cultural related and modern dance forms. The performance is perfectly imperfect and reminds us the beauty of little wonders in our daily life. As a dedication to the freedom of expression and to cultural heritage in dance, la nostra piccola danza opens up to what seems often faded.
TOAA 2023
Eb Geta Maam Toaa from the language Mooré (Burkina Faso) means -They look at me fixedly-. An intimate connection slowly opens a space of exchange. How do I see myself and how do others perceive me. Who am I in the eyes of my observers and how does my perception of the moment depend on my surrounding. Performed on an original composition, created during a research in sound, the music of TOAA was the starting point of this creation.

Being a piece of un-owned land which can be seen as a disputed ground between the front lines or trenches of two opposing armies as well as an indeterminate or undefined place, the concept of ‘no man’s land’ also confronts us with our own subconscious that defines us human beings.Does a no man’s land necessarily need to be a territorial matter? Are we not as humans concerned about an unknown place in ourselves as well?
